Welcome to Class Saint John Paul. I am Miss Moore and I am the class teacher alongside our wonderful teaching assistant Miss Higgins. We have a mixed class of year 3 and 4 children and we are excited to begin the school year, looking forward to working hard, having fun and making friends!
We have an action-packed year of learning planned for the children, beginning with a fabulous English unit based on “A Bear Called Paddington” by Michael Bond. In Geography we will be learning all about London and how it compares to Rochdale while in Science we will be investigating Living Things – including Humans. We will get deep inside the human body and learn about our skeletons, teeth and digestive systems! Later on in the year, we will explore different Historical periods including the Tudors, the Shang Dynasty and the Egyptians.
Homework in KS2 is online, please find the link below. Children must be completing 4 nuggets a week on century tech and these are set each Tuesday.
